Who we are
K2 Creative LLC operates Reality Cray Cray and realitycraycray.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this website, listen to episodes here, or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@realitycraycray.com.
Information we use
When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, selected topic, and message, together with any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, provide support, and keep relevant correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or private podcast feed links.
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. To deliver pages and prevent abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser and device information, and request times. Our contact endpoint also uses your IP address for short-term rate limiting. We do not include it in the contact email or maintain a separate contact-message database on this website.
Cookies and saved playback
The website does not set cookies for advertising or analytics and does not include advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts. Our player uses your browser’s local storage to remember the last episode selected, playback positions, and played status. These saved playback records stay in your browser; we do not send them to our servers. They remain until you clear this website’s browser data. Browser settings that block storage may prevent the player from remembering your progress.
Audio and membership services
The D-Sides page includes an embedded Apple Podcasts player. When it loads, your browser connects directly to Apple, which receives connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Apple’s player is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Apple’s privacy policy.
When you play an episode, your browser requests audio from our podcast host, Libsyn, and its delivery partners. Those services receive your IP address and other connection information and may process listening information under their own policies. See Libsyn’s privacy policy.
Memberships and payments take place on external services such as Supercast, Patreon, and Apple Podcasts. This website does not process payment cards or provide member accounts. Information those platforms share with us for membership administration or support is used for those purposes. Their websites, apps, and players have their own privacy practices. External social and other links also take you to services governed by their own policies.
How information is shared
We use service providers, including Cloudflare and our email providers, to operate the website and receive and answer messages. They process information as needed to provide those services. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of our services.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track visitors across other websites for advertising. Because this website does not perform those activities, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change its behavior. External services may have different practices.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, provide related support, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. Hosting, security, and email records are retained according to the applicable service configuration and provider policies. Saved playback information stays on your device until cleared. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can clear saved playback information through your browser’s site-data settings and contact us without using the form by emailing contact@realitycraycray.com. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict its use. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and legal exceptions may apply.
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the website and respond to correspondence, on contractual necessity where relevant to membership support, and on legal obligations where required. If we rely on consent for a particular use, you may withdraw it. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International processing
We operate in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different privacy laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the required safeguards, including applicable contractual protections with providers.
Children
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
